FVF was established in 2010, the company has been built up organically with a long term vision, a professional approach and a relentless work ethic which is mirrored across each division of the business today.

FVF had various plants for sites but took the leap and purchased their first 50-ton crane shortly followed by a 55-ton crane and FVF had now established themselves as a leader in steel erection UK-wide.
Purchase an in-house plasma fitting machine. The company pushes forward with Structural Steelwork projects.
FVF moved more into the specialist structural steel side of construction and was brought in to carry out all the remedial works within schools that had been found unsafe. FVF carried out these works with great success allowing schools such as Balfron High School, Bearsden, and Newton Mearns allowing them to continue and educate the future with minimal disruption.
FVF continued its path of improvement and growth now leading the way on large construction sites as the go-to company for any complex installation or welding. When the national trust required a company to bring back to life the bowling bridge in Dumbarton which is one of only two swing bridges in the UK the other placed in London FVF jumped at the opportunity and delivered. FVF was now well established in the education sector for structural steel with Strathyre primary school designed and delivered under budget and two weeks ahead of schedule and several extensions to St Andrews primary school and bridge of Allan to name a few
FVF had outgrown their premises and moved to our current location in Stirling which at the time was a very exciting and a huge step for FVF allowing us to provide larger works and stamp our name within the rail industry as a supplier of large piles, pile adapters, Grilages and any other specialist railway fabrication to include site welding.

Award over £1m order for Hunterston power station working for all three parties within the main contractor's consortium commencing in 2015.
In 2015 FVF where one of the first companies to attain the new CE marking certification which was an easy transition due to the traceability already in place for the oil and gas industry. This in turn opened more doors to the more technical side of fabrication and welding. Working with sir Robert Mcalpine on the new Dundee train station and Interserve on a tricky fit-out in Glasgow's newest student accommodation Claremont House. Growing from strength to strength FVF continued to maintain excellent workmanship, efficiency and reliability which helped secure a large and prestigious contract.

FVF grew their client base over the following years and carried out many large social housing and private housing builds one being the eye-catching flats on the Clyde shaped like the bow of a boat.

We established our bespoke welding codings covering a variety of complex methods to assist our prestigious client base and maintained our specialist site welding and wrap up teams.

FVF was established in 2010 with a small team and a van carrying out complex and bespoke wrap-up works on large construction sites. FVF from the get-go had a renowned knowledge of specialist welding and quickly built up an impeccable reputation.
FVF moved into their first small 12,000 sqft premises in early 2011 providing handrails, and small structural members for predominately the house building sector whilst still maintaining a good presence on large construction sites within Scotland.
